Walker Tile Re-Lay Project
Hoyt Roofs recently completed a tile re-lay project in Yorba Linda, extending the life of the existing roof while upgrading the waterproofing system beneath the tile.
Scope Of Work
Hoyt Roofs removed and stacked the existing flat concrete roof tiles, removed and reinstalled 28 solar panels, inspected the roof deck, prepared the surface for new underlayment, installed two layers of Fontana G40 underlayment, reinstalled the original tile, and properly flashed roof penetrations and solar mounting locations.

Project Highlights
This project preserved the home’s original tile appearance, installed a new waterproofing system beneath the existing tile, extended roof service life without the cost of new tile replacement, and improved long-term protection against moisture intrusion.
